Dr. Brian Schwartz grew up in Dallas and returned to the area after going away for college and medical
school.
Even from a young age, he was compelled to find a way to make a significant impact in someone else’s life.
He followed his father’s footsteps as his father is also a cardiologist. Dr. Schwartz says, “Cardiology is
a very dynamic field, and I like the frequent advancements and new research that is available to help my
patients.”.
Dr. Schwartz takes a particular interest in preventive cardiology in order to help people avoid heart
problems before they start. He also strongly advocates appropriate cardiac screening for heart disease. He
believes patient education and understanding are extremely important in the physician-patient relationship
and strives to ensure his patients feel comfortable and well informed.
Dr. Schwartz and his wife have two children. He enjoys spending his free time with his family “playing”
outdoors, swimming, running, and reading.
